Linked Courses Projects:

You may take this course on its own, or linked to another discipline course. Four courses are linked to this course in Fall 2001. Students of the linked courses will use this course to work on the computer features necessary for their final assignments in the linked courses. For a detailed description of the companion courses' required assignments, click on the Graded Assignments button on the left, then choose the relevant course. For more information contact the instructors of the companion courses.

CPAS10 Projects

Students of CPAS10, who are not taking any linked course, will develop a project portfolio consisting of items necessary for a cohesive theme oriented project.

The course theme is:

Establishing and maintaining a coffee shop on the LBCC campus.

Throughout the course, you will create the following documents for that theme:

Each of the above documents will have to include specific features learned in the various course modules. For a detailed description of the required features, click on the Graded Assignment button on the left.

Format:

The course consists of 5 modules. The modules can be found in the Study Guides button on the left. Each module has its own set of features accompanied by practices. Work through the features in each module at your own pace(in a linear order), and as you finish learning each feature, e-mail the corresponding practice to the instructors.

All assignments for CPAS 10 students and for students who take CPAS10 as a companion course are listed in the Graded Assignments button. The assignments are due on dates specified in each course Assignments button.

We recommend that you learn the course material for the following modules in a linear order:

We also suggest that you work on the modules weekly, at least 4 hours per week. That will ensure that you are ready to complete your graded assignments when they are due.
