Course Information:This course is the third medical surgical nursing course in the program.Orem's theory of self care and the nursing process is continued in study. Pathophysiology and nursing care in health deviations are studied. The skills lab provides an opportunity for students to learn and practice nursing care skills in preparation of patient care. Clinical education develops students competency in the role of the vocational nurse in the acute setting.
Comments: Compliance with all clinical agency , Long Beach City College, and VN program health and safety policies is required the first day of the course
