Welcome to The Sample Online Course!

1. This course is available for Distance Learning instructors at LBCC as a reference tool to design your own online course. Notice:

a. It is recommended for all new DL instructors to attend the "Teach Online" workshop accessed through the e-Learning Zone. (Contact us for more information on accessing this workshop); it includes the rationale, theory, design model, and application principles to be used in all LBCC DL courses including this sample course.
b. The features included in this sample course are the recommended standard features to ensure student success and the course's equivalency to its on-campus version. Download the DL FAQ sheet written by the committee.

2. This sample course includes content from various disciplines; there is no specific content taught in this course. When accessing the various pages, pay attention to the way the content is designed and the activity templates (rather than to the various subject matters it includes).

3. On the top of each page you will see a gray box. It includes information on the function and design of the page.
